3 Ways to Support 5th Grade Promotion

1. Shop with Amazon Smile
Calling Amazon shoppers! Amazon will donate a portion of your purchases to the PTA through AmazonSmile. It takes just a few minutes and 5 quick steps to start earning donations that will support 5th grade promotion:

1. Make sure your Amazon app is updated; open the app
2. Open settings and select AmazonSmile under Programs & Features
3. Search for and select the “Garrett Park Elementary School PTA” under charities.
4. Select the option to Turn On AmazonSmile on your phone. You’ll need to enable notifications.
5. Shop as usual!
If you don’t have the app, you can still select the PTA by visiting smile.amazon.com.

2. Raise Money and Enjoy a Delicious Meal!
​
We have partnered with several local businesses to arrange several Restaurant Night Fundraisers. This Spring, these events will support our 5th Grade Promotion activities.
​
Please mark your calendars and support our Raccoons as they celebrate their time at Garrett Park and look forward to the adventures of middle school.

Mon., March 22 -- Chipotle - Pike & Rose (11802 Rockville Pike Ste E)
When: Monday, 3/22/21 -- 4:00-8:00 pm
How: order online for pick-up (Code - 6GKWMZN ) or order at store and mention Garrett Park at check-out

Mon., April 5 -- Smashburger (1800 Rockville Pike)
When: 4/5/21 -- 11:00am-9:00pm
How: Call 240-406-5114 to order ahead, or walk-in. Be sure to mention that you are with Garrett Park so we earn 20% toward 5th grade promotion.

Wed., April 14 -- California Tortilla - Cabin John (7727 Tuckerman Ln)
When: Wednesday, 4/14/21 -- all day
How: Online ordering only (Orders through UberEats, DoorDash, Postmates, etc will not count.)
As guests are placing the order online, they can choose in-store pickup, curbside pickup, or delivery.
Select the item on the menu called “Spirit Night” that costs $0. Your group simply has to add this item to their cart and then checkout normally for the order to count towards the fundraiser.

3. Make a Donation to Support 5th Grade Promotion
​
Fifth grade families are being asked for a suggested $25 donation to cover the cost of the 5th grade t-shirt and other goodies we are planning for our 5th graders. But some families can't afford this, so your donation will ensure that every child can participate. Donate Here.
